It has come to my attention of late that I seriously need to invest in some decent, quality, ballet flats. Whilst yes, I confess to owning a small army of ballet flats, for the most part, their quality leaves much to desire. You know, an accumulation of those in the moment purchases from Ruby, Target and the likes that whilst darling and delightful, after a few months/ weeks/ days or more realistically ... hours, your new favourite darlings are literally falling apart at the seams & you're left heartbroken!! I'm thinking classic & I'm really thinking Chanel. Here's a few options I'm considering, in order of purchase probability. What's your pick of the pretties? ♥

roast pumpkin & honey salad.
Recently I've started ordering my fruit and vegetables from Home Fresh Organics (here). The quality is amazing and somehow they manage to taste better than those purchased from the supermarket. Originally I started out with a fortnightly box then immediately switched to the weekly version as I delightedly ate my way through my entire first box within the week. You can customise your box each week and they deliver free to your door. Highly recommend! Here's a delicious little something I whipped up using a few of the items from my box last week, using the recipe I found (here).

to sun or to save.
Isn't it always the way that when you've told yourself you're going to avoid doing something, the act has now never seemed more appealing. The seemingly possible now impossible to avoid. Common examples include: Texting the ex. Eating that chocolate/ biscuit/ cake/ ice-cream when you're trying to diet & in my current case, spending when you're desperately trying to save! That's right, I've told myself to spend less and save that sweet moulah for an upcoming trip to Melbourne. It comes as no surprise that I'm now finding myself munching on these bitter words as I lust over these glittery Miu Miu darlings and every other item on my June wish-list.
Must. Not. Spend.

hello hydrangea.
Hydrangea Blazer by Staple the Label
I'll admit, I'm not a floral fan, at all. But ... I'd be willing to make an exception for this Staple the Label Hydrangea Blazer. I've always loved hydrangeas, their temperamental blooms and difficult to create colour makes the flower oh so special when it blooms just perfectly. :) Now, all of this captured sweetly and forever in a beautiful structured blazer, well I'm taken. Love, love, love!
